4. Non-Verbal Reasoning
In a set of shapes, four follow a rule and one breaks it: the number of dots inside each shape matches its number of sides (a triangle has 3 dots, a square 4, and so on). Which is the odd one out — a hexagon (6 sides) containing only 4 dots, or a pentagon (5 sides) containing 5 dots?
Answers
- 1. C — 1 hr 35 min. 14:35 to 16:35 is 2 hours; 16:10 is 25 minutes before that, so 2 hr − 25 min.
- 2. B — Unwilling. “Reluctant” means hesitant or unwilling, the opposite of eager.
- 3. B — Foot. A finger is part of a hand; a toe is part of a foot.
- 4. The hexagon. It has 6 sides but only 4 dots, so it breaks the “dots = sides” rule.
